Summary:

“Pooh Bear” is the quietest and sweetest pony you will ever find. He loves children and will carefully follow them around everywhere. The best ground manners you will ever find on a pony and he has no vices or soundness issues. His family has outgrown him and he is looking for a new child to call his own. “Pooh” has done a lot of everything! Shown hunters in the Beginner ring and safely carries children around a cross-rail course or into their first walk/trot class. He has shown 4-H,both English and Western and has been a great lesson pony. We have never seen this pony spook at anything! If you want your child to learn to ride on a safe pony then you want Pooh Bear. The kids describe him like riding a couch because he is so comfortable. Soft and smooth gates make it very easy for kids to learn how to ride properly. NEVER goes too fast and rides in a snaffle or just bareback with a halter and lead. This pony also has extensive trail experience and will carefulyl carry a child through all types of trails. This pony would make an incredible Fox-hunting or pony club pony, groups of horses don’t other him at all. Will only be sold to a loving approved home.

Description

Chief is a thirteen year (13) old, thirteen (13) hand Welsh-Dartmoor cross.   Nearly every child that rides Chief describes him as, “fun”.  Chief has an excellent attitude towards work and he enjoys the challenge of learning new things.  He is currently jumping (2’6″) consistently with auto flying lead changes.  Chief has an incredible jump for a pony his size.   This wonderful little guy grabs the attention with his winning presence in the show ring.  Currently in dressage training but would make a great hunter, eventer or Pony Club pony.  Chief enjoys trail rides especially if they include water!  Has been schooling cross-country on numerous occasions and has experiance with banks, water, coops, barrels and tires.  This pony is a blast to ride and always has a happy attitude about his work.  Must go to an approved loving home!

Other Capabilities
Chief regularly shows in the Hunters, 4-H, English, Western and Games classes.  He has received numerous blue ribbons at a variety of shows.  Also, he has schooled cross-country numerous times and as a result he loves it.  Chief demonstrates the qualities of a true gentleman with excellent ground manners.  Currently, he is working diligently to improve his dressage.  Along with dressage training, he receives regular exercise as a lesson pony.  If it were not for the move of his owner, he would not be for sale.

Description: Little Miss Muffit is a great little pony that loves to work with children.  She has been used as a children’s lesson pony for the past 5 years and has taught handicapped, beginner and intermediate children how to ride ponies.  She enjoys jumping up to 2’3″.   Also, she has shown in walk-trot and cross-rail show divisions at the horse shows.  Little Miss Muffit has never worn shoes and has always been 100% sound and healthy.  Her previous caretaker-rider used her for trail riding, western, game classes.   Also, she has been a wonderful broodmare for the past 5 years.   Her students have been training exclusively in English during the lesson programs.
